The New Build

Build Number Two - Soon to Be Completed

During the week I purchased some more dash 16 fittings to finish on plumbing in the idle control valve back into the intake system. I planned to run it into a T piece that was going from the catch can to the intake.

I purchased a dash 16 T piece and as I already had 1 dash 16 straight push on fitting I purchased another 2. I also purchased a dash 16 alloy weld on fitting and a 180 degree dash 16 fitting. I would be getting this welded onto the idle control valve as from factory it points towards the firewall. In the picture you can see how I had the fitting welded to a piece of alloy piping to make it easier to attach to the the idle control valve

Once installed I attached the 180 degree fitting and pushed on the rubber hosing ready to run under the plenum to the T piece.

As I had already run the return line from the catch can to the intake all I needed to do was slice it in half and install the T piece I had purchased. It's good when it's easy. I have secured the T piece to the top radiator hose to make sure its secure.

With the idle control valve plumbed back in the car is ready for its tune. Now I just have to get time off work and get it down to PITS to get tuned.
